Agreement to Terms

By booking driving lessons with Drive with Greta, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the "Student") and Drive with Greta (the "Instructor", "we", or "us").

About Drive with Greta: Drive with Greta is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) service based in Peterborough, providing automatic and manual driving lessons across Peterborough and nearby areas, including Stamford, Ely, Yaxley and Whittlesey.

Acceptance of Terms

You accept these terms when you:

  • Book a lesson via website, phone, email or WhatsApp
  • Make payment for lessons or packages
  • Attend your first lesson

If you do not agree, please do not proceed with booking.

Under 17s

Learners under 17 must have permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on their behalf.

Driving Lessons Offered

  • Automatic driving lessons
  • Manual driving lessons (subject to availability)
  • Pay-as-you-go lessons
  • Block booking packages
  • Intensive / crash courses
  • Refresher lessons
  • Pass Plus courses
  • Motorway lessons

Lesson Details

  • Lessons are typically 1 or 2 hours
  • Pickup and drop-off are included within the service area
  • Lessons are mainly conducted in a dual-controlled automatic car
  • Manual lessons are available on request

  • English
  • Lithuanian
  • Russian (Conversational)

Booking & Payment

Booking Lessons

You can book via:

  • Phone or WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Website form

Lessons are confirmed once agreed by the instructor.

Payment Terms

  • Pay-as-you-go: Payment due per lesson
  • Block bookings: Paid in advance
  • Intensive courses: Deposit required, balance before start
Late or Non-Payment: We reserve the right to pause lessons if payments are not made as agreed.

Pricing

Prices are available on our website and may change with notice. Pre-paid lessons remain at the agreed rate.

Block Booking Validity

Block bookings are valid for 60 days to 3 months unless agreed otherwise.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Student Cancellations

Notice Required:
  • 48+ hours' notice: No charge
  • Less than 48 hours: Full lesson fee charged
  • No-show: Full fee charged, no refund

Instructor Cancellations

If we cancel due to illness, vehicle issues or emergencies:

  • The lesson will be rescheduled
  • No cost to you

Weather

Lessons may be rescheduled in unsafe weather conditions at no cost to you.

How to Cancel: Please contact us via phone, email, or WhatsApp at least 24–48 hours prior to your scheduled lesson.

Student Responsibilities

Licence Requirement

You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it at the start of your lesson. Failure to do so may result in the lesson being cancelled.

Fitness to Drive

You must meet DVSA eyesight and health requirements and inform us of any relevant medical conditions.

Behaviour

Students must:

  • Be respectful and follow instructions
  • Arrive on time
  • Not use phones while driving
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Zero Tolerance: Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may result in lesson termination without refund.

Vehicle Care

  • No smoking, vaping, or food in the car
  • Treat the vehicle with care
  • Damage caused by misuse may be charged

Driving Test

Test Readiness

We will guide you, but booking your test is your responsibility.

Use of a Car for a Test

Available subject to availability, advance booking, and an additional fee. Includes:

  • Pre-test lesson
  • Use of a car during the test
  • Support on the day
Please Note: Passing is not guaranteed. The outcome depends on your performance on the day and the examiner's assessment.

Liability & Insurance

Insurance

Students are covered under instructor insurance during lessons, provided you:

  • Hold a valid licence
  • Follow instructions
  • Drive responsibly

Use of Student’s Own Vehicle

If lessons are conducted in the student’s own vehicle, it must be fully roadworthy, properly insured for driving tuition, and compliant with all legal requirements. The instructor reserves the right to refuse or cancel the lesson if the vehicle is considered unsafe or unsuitable. The student is responsible for ensuring the vehicle meets all legal and safety standards.

Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Test outcomes
  • Personal belongings
  • Losses due to cancellations or delays
Student Liability: Students are responsible for damage caused by reckless behaviour and any fines or penalties incurred during lessons.

Data Protection & Privacy

We handle your data in line with UK GDPR. We may collect:

  • Contact details
  • Lesson and progress records
  • Payment details

This is used to:

  • Deliver lessons
  • Manage bookings
  • Meet legal obligations

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms when needed. Continued use of our services means you accept any updates.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Fair Treatment: Both the student and the instructor agree to act in good faith and treat each other with fairness, respect, and professionalism at all times.
